APPLYING TO BECOME A FREEMASON

When you apply is up to you. You may have already spoken to a Freemason previously and are now ready to join. Either way, if you feel ready, then now is the time.

You must be proposed and seconded by two existing Freemasons. Don't know any? Don't worry, we will introduce you to a couple of the brethren and you can get to know them and likewise them to know you and see if you are a good fit for Freemasonry, and if Freemasonry is a good fit for you. Just fill out the application form below to get started.

For Freemasonry, you should be a man of the mature age of 18 or over. There are also Women Freemasons lodges across the country.

To enter into Freemasonry, you must have a proposer and a secondary proposer. Usually, this is someone you know who believes you are a fit and proper man to be made a mason; however, if you don't know anyone, we will appoint someone to meet you, and they may become your proposer.

Someone from the Bicester Freemasons will contact you to learn more about your desire to join the Freemasons. We will then usually arrange to meet and discuss the next steps. 

You must believe in a supreme being, but any religion is welcome into Freemasonry.
